Terms of service

Agreement and eligibility

By installing or using the app, the merchant agrees to these terms and confirms that the person acting for the store is authorized to do so. Use of Shopify remains governed by the merchant’s separate agreement with Shopify.

The service

The app lets merchants configure qualifying cart rules, free gifts, shopper-choice offers, storefront messages, translations, and attributed reporting. Features can depend on Shopify APIs, the active theme, product availability, discount combinations, checkout capabilities, and the selected app plan.

Plans and billing

A Free plan supports one active rule. Standard and Unlimited are recurring plans shown on the Shopify-hosted pricing page and may include a stated trial. Paid charges are authorized, billed, and cancelled through Shopify Billing. Draft rules can remain saved, but active-rule limits are enforced by plan.

Merchant responsibilities

• Keep product, inventory, theme, and discount settings accurate.
• Test each promotion and make its terms clear to shoppers before publishing it.
• Use the app lawfully and do not attempt to bypass plan limits, security controls, or Shopify platform rules.
• Maintain an appropriate privacy notice and legal basis for the merchant’s own processing of shopper information.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service reliable but do not promise uninterrupted operation. We may improve, replace, or discontinue features when needed for security, Shopify compatibility, legal compliance, or product development. Material term changes will be posted with an updated effective date.

Ownership and acceptable use

Slurvo owns the app and its software. The merchant retains its store content and configuration. The merchant may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Suspension and termination

The merchant may end use by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, non-payment, security risk, material breach, or a Shopify platform requirement. Data is then handled as described in the privacy policy.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service is provided “as is” and without implied warranties. Slurvo is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for issues caused by Shopify, a theme, another app, merchant configuration, or unavailable inventory. Slurvo’s aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the fees paid for the app in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, without limiting mandatory consumer or data protection rights. Questions can be sent to support@slurvo.com.
